Tetrao urogallus (Western capercaillie) also known as the Eurasian capercaillie, wood grouse, heather cock, cock-of-the-woods, or simply capercaillie /ˌkæpərˈkeɪli/, is a heavy member of the grouse family and the largest of all extant grouse species.
